tyleroakley: cognitivedissonance: Over the course of eight years of Former President George W. Bush’s policies, nearly every Republican senator voted repeatedly to raise the debt ceiling. It was only when Barack Obama was elected that the number dropped to 2, then 1, then 0. Senate Republicans had no problem with debt under Bush — only under Obama. Each bar demonstrates how many Republican senators voted to increase the debt ceiling.  Disappointing how party-politics works.
